\"TxDOT<\/a>TYLER — Here’s a quick look at other work planned in the Tyler District of the Texas Department of Transportation. <\/p>\n

SMITH COUNTY \u2013 Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue base and pavement repairs on State Highway 135 between Troup and Arp. A second crew is scheduled to continue edge repairs on Farm Road 2710 between Farm Road 16 in Lindale and Farm Road 14 near Red Springs. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic. <\/p>\n

GREGG COUNTY \u2013 Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to begin pavement-repair work on State Highway 42 between Interstate Highway 20 in Kilgore and Farm Road 1252 in Hughey. This work will include work on IH 20 entrance and exit ramps at SH 42, which will cause intermittent lane and ramp closures on IH 20 in addition to those on SH 42. Traffic on SH 42 will be reduced to one lane and controlled by flaggers, so motorists are strongly encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible to avoid long delays. <\/p>\n

RUSK COUNTY \u2013 Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform edge work on SB U.S. Highway 259 between Farm Road 850 and Loop 571 in Henderson. Meanwhile, beginning Wednesday, contract crews are scheduled to begin resurfacing operations on NB U.S. Highway 259 between Loop 571 in Henderson and Farm Road 850. The work on Northbound US 259 will require 24-hour lane closures while the work is in progress. <\/p>\n

CHEROKEE COUNTY \u2013 Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to make base and pavement repairs on Farm Road 13 east of Troup, while a second crew makes edge repairs on Farm Road 747 north of U.S. Highway 79 outside of Jacksonville. Elsewhere, crews are scheduled to perform edge repairs in various locations on Farm Road 1911 near Alto, and on U.S. Highway 69 between Rusk and Alto. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic in two-lane areas. <\/p>\n

HENDERSON COUNTY \u2013 Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform ditch work on Farm Road 314 between Brownsboro and Edom. A second crew is scheduled to perform resurfacing operations on Farm Road 2494 in various locations between West Loop 7 and Trinity Valley Community College, including the area near Bunny Rabbit Lane. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic. <\/p>\n

WOOD COUNTY \u2013 Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform ditch work on Farm Road 2869 near Holly Lake Ranch. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic. <\/p>\n

VAN ZANDT COUNTY \u2013 Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform edge repairs on Farm Road 859 between Farm Road 1395 north of Edgewood and SH 19 near the Rains County Line. A second crew is scheduled to perform the same work on Farm Road 1805 between Van and Jamestown. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic. <\/p>\n

ANDERSON COUNTY \u2013 Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue base and pavement repairs on U.S. Highway 287 between Elkhart and the Houston County Line.
