KETK reports his bond has been set at $1,250,000.  Authorities allege Taylor had previously stabbed his wife, Shirley Ann Taylor, 67, in their bedroom at her home on Kurth Drive.  Ms. Taylor died in a local hospital Thursday night.  Investigators believe Richard Taylor, 51, used a knife to stab her multiple times. Taylor&#8217;s body has been sent for autopsy in Beaumont. There, the number and type of injuries, along with the cause of death, will be determined. Results are not expected for several weeks.  <!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>Information collected during the initial investigation led officers to believe that Richard Taylor was headed to Corrigan, Texas. Corrigan officers found Taylor and took him into custody for a warrant obtained by the Lufkin Police Department for aggravated assault. He was booked into the Angelina County Jail.
