Kilgore Police Department Public Information Officer Captain Roman Roberson tells KETK Around 10:30 Monday night, a man drove up to the security gate of Halliburton Energy Services in the 200 block of Knowles Street, pointed a rifle at the security guard, and demanded he open the gate.   The man then told the guard to leave the premises and proceeded to drive onto the complex. He drove over to a fracking building and shot his rifle through a few windows before leaving.   Officials suspect the shooter may have been a disgruntled former employee, and they are looking at security video and employee records to figure out the identity of the man.
