\"corn<\/a>TYLER \u2014 Tylerites who have visited the local Jaycees\u2019 Halloween haunted house over the years will notice some changes this year. According to Jaycees member Michelle Perry, \u201cRecently we have decided to re-vamp and re-energize the chapter as a whole and we hope to expand our contribution the community by improving the activities we are already involved with and coming up with new exciting events as well. One of our first projects to show the changes we are making is re-focusing our theme and target audience for our huge October event. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis year instead of a haunted house, we are building a 28,000-square foot maze to be the main attraction. It is intended to be family friendly and even allow families to go through it together. There will also be a \u2018fun house,\u2019 which is a smaller maze with obstacles and attention grabbers for the children of our community. We plan to have bounce houses, a Putt-Putt hole in one challenge, bean bag toss, face painting by Ju-Jubilees and more!\u201d<\/p>\n

It all happens at 12338 Highway 155 South, across from Whataburger. According to Perry, \u201cWe will be open from October the 18th to the 31st. On weekdays (school nights) our hours will be 7:00pm till 10:00pm and on the weekend we plan to open at 4:00pm and stay till late.\u201d Perry says several vendors will be on hand, and \u201cthere will even be a Jaycee store where T-shirts will be available for purchase so those that attend can show their support for the chapter and what we are doing.\u201d For more information, you can contact at Perry at chelledawn8@hotmail.com<\/a> or 903-216-7238, or Bobby Jones, Tyler Jaycee president, at 903-747-7360.<\/p>\n

LINDALE \u2014 The City of Lindale has released a new website as of October 7. The new website design and reformat bid proposed by Group M7 of Tyler for http:\/\/www.LindaleTX.gov<\/a> was approved in August by the Lindale City Council.
