The funding comes through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) within the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).   \u201cThese funds will be used to address needed maintenance and safety improvements at East Texas Regional Airport,\u201d Sen. Cornyn said. \u201cIn addition, quality transportation services are important for boosting local economic growth.
