Monday the school district&#8217;s classes were let out at 12 noon due to a power outage. It was caused when a tree fell on a power line. The power was restored early Monday afternoon. KETK reported that at one point late Monday morning, over 50,000 SWEPCO customers in Gregg County and a few hundred in Smith County were without power.
