That\u2019s according to KETK. Frankston Police Chief Richard Goodman says Robin Slaughter, 43, and Whitney McFarland, 26, (pictured) both turned themselves in to the Frankston Police Department and Anderson County Sheriff\u2019s Office around 8:00 Tuesday evening. \u201cThe nerve of some people,\u201d said Goodman. \u201cIt\u2019s hard to trust anyone these days.\u201d <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>According to KETK, Slaughter and McFarland reportedly embezzled $2,200 from a trust fund established for clients at the nursing home. The women were in charge of the fund, but instead of spending the money on the patients, they went shopping for themselves, according to authorities. Goodman said the women bought designer purses, jeans, and blouses with the stolen money. There are two charges against each woman, and each charge carries a maximum 10-year sentence and $10,000 fine.
