A federal grand jury returned an indictment on November 7, 2012 charging Jose Eduardo Moreno, 39, of Tyler, with federal drug trafficking crimes. He pleaded guilty on February 4 to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Moreno was sentenced yesterday to 70 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Michael H. Schneider.
