And KETK reports that according to some, this year might even be worse.  For the most part they can only keep these pests at bay the best they can, and many have had to resort to cutting their hay early to avoid a loss. <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p>Experts say getting rid of grasshoppers needs to be a group effort.  That&#8217;s because if one property owner treats his or her land and the person next door does not, the insects will just jump the property line, and then jump right back once the treatment has worn off.
