The fire happened around 2:00 Wednesday afternoon between Cotton and U.S. Highway 80. Fire officials tell KETK crews on the scene that the workers were doing a pipe removal on a shut-in gas well when there was a flash fire. The work area of their trailer was damaged, and one employee who was working at the site has been hospitalized for smoke inhalation.
