According to KETK, Officers Danny Stroud and Kerry Higginbotham were no-billed Thursday by a grand jury in the fatal shootings of Candace Jackson on May 9 and Jose SiFuentes on May 20 after hearing testimony from Texas Rangers who conducted investigations in each incident. \u201cI am pleased that the grand jury cleared these two officers and they have now been returned to regular duty,\u201d Dingler wrote in a statement. The department has not specified which incident each officer was involved in.
