The following statement was posted on the page:  &#8220;After 69.5 years and 3 days El Charro is officially closed. Thanks to all of East Texas for dining with us throughout the years.&#8221;  El Charro first opened in 1943.  KETK reports it will close both locations.  El Charro #1 at 2604 East Erwin has been closed recently due to repairs but will not re-open.
