It was announced yesterday morning that certified public accountant Steve Altmiller from Tupelo, Mississippi, has been named to the post. During his 35 year career, Altmiller has headed hospitals in Texas in New Mexico. Currently, he is president of North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Altmiller will succeed the hospital system&#8217;s former CEO Ed Banos. He was released from the post last September.
