\"TxDOT<\/a>TYLER — Here’s a quick look at other work planned in the Tyler District of the Texas Department of Transportation.<\/p>\n

SMITH COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue edge work on Interstate Highway 20 between State Highway 155 and State Highway 271. A second crew is scheduled to perform ditch maintenance in various locations on Farm Road 346 between Farm Road 756 (Paluxy Drive) and U.S. Highway 69. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic in two-lane areas.<\/p>\n

LONGVIEW — Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue base and pavement repairs on Southwest Loop 281, between Farm Road 2205 (Jaycee Drive) and U.S. Highway 80 (Marshall Ave.). Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress. Motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zone.<\/p>\n

HENDERSON – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform base and pavement repair operations on the northbound side of U.S. Highway 79 between Farm Road 225 and Farm Road 3310. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress. Motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zone.<\/p>\n

ANDERSON COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform base and pavement repairs on the inside southbound lane of SE Loop 256 near Palestine High School, followed by the same work on the southbound outside lane of State Highway 155 between NE Loop 256 and Farm Road 315. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zones. Elsewhere, a moving operation will be placing tabs on Farm Road 1990 in preparation for a seal coat application during the week of June 24.<\/p>\n

CHEROKEE COUNTY – Contract construction crews this week are scheduled to begin several weeks of pavement-repair and resurfacing operations in Jacksonville on Farm Road 347 (Bolton Street) between Cherokee Street and South Loop 456. Elsewhere, TxDOT maintenance crews are scheduled to continue resurfacing operations on Farm Road 855 between U.S. Highway 175 in Cuney and U.S. Highway 69 in Mount Selman. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zones.<\/p>\n

WOOD COUNTY – Contract construction crews on Tuesday are scheduled to begin approximately two weeks of work applying a seal coat to East Loop 564 in Mineola between U.S. Highway 69 North and U.S. Highway 69 South. Also this week, TxDOT maintenance crews are scheduled to continue pavement and edge repairs in various locations on Farm Road 2422 between U.S. Highway 80 east of Mineola and Farm Road 1804. A second crew is scheduled to perform resurfacing operations on Farm Road 1801 east of Mineola. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.<\/p>\n

VAN ZANDT COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform base and pavement repairs on Farm Road 1651 between State Highway 198 and State Highway 19 south of Canton. A second crew is scheduled to perform edge work on SH 19 north of Canton between Interstate Highway 20 and U.S. Highway 80. Elsewhere, crews are scheduled to continue resurfacing operations on Farm Road 16 in and around Van. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic in two-lane areas.<\/p>\n

HENDERSON COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform seal coat operations on Farm Road 2636 near Malakoff. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.
