Smith appeared Wednesday in Judge Kerry Russell\u2019s court for a hearing on a 2nd degree felony charge, \u201cfail to comply with sex offender registration life\/annually.\u201d Court proceedings ended with testimony during the morning session. When court convened for the afternoon session, Smith failed to return to court, according to officials. The jury convicted Smith of the offense, and Russell issued a bond forfeiture warrant on Smith. <\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information about this or any felony may contact Tyler-Smith County Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833).
