Sheriff Smith now says Miller, a Smith County resident, was apparently the only person involved in the death of Adam Palacios on County Road 35 in Tyler.   Palacios&#8217;s body was found in a field in Anderson County in September 2012.   Smith County Sheriff\u2019s Office detectives and other officers arrested Miller on June 3 after new information was gathered regarding Palacios\u2019s death.  Sheriff Smith also points out that he campaigned on trying to fight the drug problem in Smith County &#8212; and he says the Miller case was drug-related.
