JACKSONVILLE — A work-related accident has left a Cherokee County man dead. It occurred around 10:00 Monday morning at the Longview Asphalt Plant, Jacksonville Division, off County Road 3302, just outside of Jacksonville. Found dead inside a silo type structure was James Anthony Lucus, 42. His body has been taken to Tyler Forensics Lab for autopsy.
