Officers were sent to the 800 block of South Chilton around 4:00 Friday afternoon. Rebecca Jones, 39, told officers she came home to find a man in her house. She said that the man stabbed her several times and then fled out the back door. <\/p>\n<p>Jones described the man as a heavy set white male with brown hair, wearing a navy blue shirt and jeans. Jones was transported to ETMC hospital where she was treated for several superficial puncture wounds and released. Officers, along with a Tyler Police K9 team searched the area but failed to locate the alleged suspect. <\/p>\n<p>Later, in an interview with investigators, Jones admitted that she lied about being attacked and stabbed. The incident never happened.
