The commission ensures banks, savings institutions, consumer credit grantors and other state-regulated financial entities operate responsibly to enhance the financial well-being of Texans. <\/p>\n<p>Lucas is president and chief operating officer of Shelby Savings Bank. He is a member of the Texas Bankers Association (TBA) and TBA Community Bankers Council, and chairman of the Texas Bankers Foundation. He is also board secretary of the Boone Hill Foundation and the Solomon Zane Allen Foundation, and a member of the Center Rotary Club. <\/p>\n<p>Lucas received a bachelor\u2019s degree from Stephen F.
