BROWNSBORO — School officials say approximately 115 HVAC units in the Brownsboro ISD were vandalized and copper tubing stolen from those units. The vandalism is believed to have occurred over the past few weeks on at least three campuses. A suspect has been arrested by the Brownsboro ISD Police Department and charged with criminal mischief and vandalism. The investigation is ongoing at this time, and the damage is estimated at more than $100,000. The schools affected are Brownsboro Elementary School, Brownsboro Intermediate School, and Chandler Intermediate School. Anyone with information related to this crime is urged to call the Brownsboro ISD Police Hotline at 903-852-8068. Callers will remain anonymous.<\/p>\n
