Shortly after 12:30 Friday afternoon, on Farm Road 2087, a car driven by Charlotte Coleman, 29, of Kilgore, was traveling southbound. KETK reports the car was hit head-on in the center of the road by Susan Thompson, 40, also of Kilgore, who was driving north. Coleman was taken to a Longview hospital, where she later died. Thompson is listed as in serious condition, having both legs and arms broken. According to officials, Coleman was not wearing a seatbelt during the accident.
