TYLER — A Smith County grand jury has no-billed a Tyler officer following a fatal shooting in January. According to authorities, Officer Matt Riggle was involved in a shooting that occurred at 603 E. Queen Street on January 1. The patrolman was responding to multiple reports of shots fired. Victor Fuentes, 22, died at the scene after he was shot by Riggle. <\/p>\n
Officer Riggle was reassigned to an administrative duty pending the outcome of the Grand Jury investigation.
