The investment comes on top of $25 million the company gave to the program in the past five years. \u201cThis is truly a lifeline,\u201d said Karen Swenson, executive director of GETCAP, which provides services to low-income residents in 12 East Texas counties. Kim Campbell, senior manager for customer advocacy at TXU Energy, said the program has invested $2.6 million in East Texas in the past 10 years and all of that money has helped more than 13,000 East Texans. \u201cThis means the difference between making tough choices,\u201d said Gregg Grubb, executive director of Tyler\u2019s PATH agency.
