Bruce Dewayne Hash, 42, was arrested at a residence on Highway 155 South. Arrested at the same time, and charged with hindering apprehension, was Jennifer Scritchfind Hurd, who turns 34 on Friday. Hurd told officers Hash was not at the residence when they arrived to serve the warrants that had been issued by the 114th District Court. Hash had previously been arrested by warrant in this matter for one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child. The two were booked into the Smith County Jail.
