The children are safe. Bonnie Miller, the children&#8217;s grandmother, was arrested around 3:00 Friday afternoon in a home near where her car had been found. She is accused of taking Nevaen Kimora Simpson, 2, and Malik Simpson, 1. <\/p>\n<p>According to a news release from the Houston County Sheriff&#8217;s Department, the children&#8217;s mother died in late December. Their father, who had custody of the kids, took them to the grandmother&#8217;s house to visit for Christmas. When he returned to pick them up, the grandmother refused to return them to their father. A court order was issued listing the father as the sole managing conservator. During the time when the court proceedings initiated and were being finalized, the grandmother fled with both children.
