According to the Marshall Police Department, at 1:27 a.m., dispatchers received a call about a man inside a house with blood on him, who would not come to the home\u2019s door. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found a man with a single gunshot wound to his head. He was later identified as David James Cherry, 28. KETK reports Justice of the Peace Kenneth Alford pronounced him dead at the scene. <\/p>\n<p>The Marshall Police Department is asking the public for any information on this homicide to please contact the Marshall Police Department\u2019s Criminal Investigation Division at 903-935-4540.
