Brookshire\u2019s, FRESH by Brookshire\u2019s, and Super 1 Foods stores in Tyler have received permit approval from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission to begin selling beer and wine for off-site consumption. Brookshire\u2019s Grocery Company began selling the products Friday afternoon. Tylerites passed Proposition 2, the legal sale of beer or wine for off premise consumption only, in the November 6 General Elections.<\/p>\n<p>Brookshire\u2019s Spokeswoman Ellen Reynolds tells KETK a variety of beer and wine products will be available in each store where alcohol sales are now allowed. What they choose will be based on the store\u2019s size, along with other factors.
