It happened around 8:00 Friday morning on Highway 135 near Crews Road, just north of Liberty City. <\/p>\n<p>According to KETK,  Darrell Cannon, 50, died at the scene. Officials said Cannon was hit by the 20-year-old Scott, a Kilgore College student who had reportedly fallen asleep. Scott allegedly hit Cannon and a mailbox and kept driving until a witness chased her down and alerted her to what happened.
