The Kilgore Police Department responded to claims of two men, later identified as Moyses Aguirre-Banega and Jose Ortez, passing bad checks at the H&#038;L Liquor store. When authorities made contact with the alleged criminals, a struggle ensued and one of the officers used his taser to subdue Aguirre-Banega. According to KETK, a police officer\u2019s finger was broken during the fight. No major injuries were reported. Banega was charged with Robbery, forgery, and assault on a peace officer.
