CHEROKEE COUNTY \u2014 Cherokee County Sheriff officials tell KETK Precinct 3 Constable Eddie Lee is involved in a pursuit of a person near Cherokee County Road 3115 in the Lake Jacksonville area. The person was on a dirtbike when Constable Lee attempted to pull him over around 9:00am Friday, but he or she drove away, resulting in a chase. Officials say the person eventually wrecked the bike and ran into the woods. The pursuit continues on foot at this time. Sheriff officials do believe the person may be armed, as a related call about a reported gunshot came in not long before the chase.
