The meeting\u2019s set this afternoon at 5:30 at TJC\u2019s White Administration Building Board Room, 1327 South Baxter. Meeting participants will have the opportunity to hear conclusions on the Area Development Plan including the planning team\u2019s findings and recommendations. <\/p>\n<p>The City of Tyler initiated the Medical District and Tyler Junior College Area Development Plan study in January, 2011, to build upon recommendations set forth in the Tyler 21 Comprehensive Plan. According to city officials, the purpose of the plan is to further develop East Texas Medical Center, Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals, Tyler Junior College, neighborhoods, and surrounding areas as a vibrant district.
