The Tyler Fire Department responded to the threat just before 9:30 Friday morning. Authorities say a call was received at the Jet Center of Tyler indicating that there was a bomb on a plane. According to a fire department news release, \u201cNo other specifics were included in the call, and the airport staff initiated standard protocol for this type of situation, beginning proactive measures to ensure the safety of the employees and visitors at the airport.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Investigators with the Tyler Fire Marshal\u2019s Office, along with the Transportation Security Administration, Federal Air Marshals, FBI, Tyler Police Department and airport officials are assisting in the investigation.
