CHEROKEE COUNTY — At least one person is in critical condition after a driver fell asleep behind the wheel early Monday morning. The single vehicle wreck happened on Highway 79 just west of New Summerfield in Cherokee County. According to KETK, there were three people in the vehicle at the time.
