GILMER \u2014 The family of Jeremiah \u201cJeremy\u201d Neely, who was killed while working at a gas well just southwest of Chireno in Nacogdoches County, has hired a wrongful death law firm. Jeremy Neely was an ex-Kilgore firefighter employed by Platinum Pressure Pumping, Inc. A high-pressure explosion resulted in Neely\u2019s death and the injury of some of his co-workers in the early morning hours on July 5.
