According to KETK, he has been identified as Les Ferguson, who had been a range master at the East Texas Police Academy since 1990. The wreck, involving a motorcycle and SUV, slowed traffic on Highway 31 in Gregg County at the Interstate 20 ramp. The wreck happened at about 8:00 Wednesday morning on the north side of Interstate Highway 20. Ferguson, he driver of the motorcycle, was taken to a Longview hospital.
