No arrests had been made, but a spokesman for the police department said investigators believe arrests are imminent. Vandals slashed the tires of more than 40 vehicles and scrawled profane graffiti through Pine Tree-area neighborhoods Monday through Wednesday nights. According to the Longview News-Journal, there were only a handful of incidents Monday and Tuesday night. Wednesday saw by far the largest number of incidents. The crimes have taken place south of Reel Road and east of Pine Tree Road.
