GREGG COUNTY \u2014 Gregg County sheriff’s officials say a man was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in a Highway 31 wreck. According to KETK, it happened around 12:30 p.m. near the Smith-Gregg County line. Authorities say the driver hit a tree three miles east of FM 3053. It’s unclear how the crash happened. No other vehicles were involved. Two lanes of traffic were blocked for a short time as crews cleared the roadway. The man was taken to a local hospital.
