According to the Longview News-Journal, Ambrose finished last in a three-way primary for the party chairmanship, missing a run-off spot by 61 votes. According to documents filed with the Upshur County district clerk\u2019s office, Ambrose is seeking a temporary injunction against Cynthia Ridgeway and Chuck Mears, both of whom topped him in the primary and are heading to the July 31 run-off. <\/p>\n<p>Ambrose alleges some voters in Pct. 1 were denied their right to vote because their voter registration cards were miscoded with an incorrect precinct number.
