Work began Friday and is expected to continue for approximately 10 days from that date.   It is anticipated that construction will cross some residential driveways, possibly limiting access.  \u201cThe City of Tyler appreciates the patience of the residents in the area while we complete this important project,\u201d said Public Works Managing Director Greg Morgan.  Officials say the project will enhance fire protection for the citizens in the area.  They say by increasing the diameter of the line, more hydrants may be added with greater water pressure.
