If you want to vote early, Friday is the last day to do it for the entire state of Texas. On Tuesday, KETK talked to people who say they\u2019re casting their votes before they travel this holiday weekend. And they\u2019re not alone, according to the Smith County election\u2019s office. As of Sunday, more than 6,000 people chose to vote early this year. That\u2019s a big turnout compared to last year at the polls. Karen Nelson says because the primary election is being on May 29th, after a holiday weekend, she\u2019s not surprised people wanted to get it out of the way before they left town. May 29th is the date for the Primary Election.
