Rafael Maciel, 28, appeared yesterday before United States Magistrate John D. Love.  <\/p>\n<p>Maciel was indicted by a Grand Jury on March 8. According to the evidence presented in court, on or about January 26, Maciel possessed approximately 3 kilograms of cocaine.  He possessed the cocaine with the intent to deliver it to others in and around the Eastern District of Texas.<\/p>\n<p> Maciel faces no less than 5 years in prison, nor more than 40, a $5,000,000.00 fine and at least 4 years of supervised release.
