Shortly before 10:00, officers were called to the 3000 Block of Estes Parkway on a pedestrian accident involving a gold 1999 Toyota Camry. When officers arrived on scene, they found the victim, Robert Wayne Mullins, 51, Longview, lying in the roadway. Mullins was trying to cross the roadway in a dimly lit area located away from the intersection, when he was hit by the Camry driven by Rebecca Ann Sheets, 20, Tatum. Mullins was taken to a local hospital where he died. <\/p>\n<p>The incident remains under investigation, Brian said, and police are asking for witnesses to the accident or anyone with information to contact Longview Police Traffic Unit officers at (903) 237-1199.
