The cause of death has been ruled a homicide. According to KETK, the body has been identified as Selonia Fay Rivers, 45. Marshall police received a missing person report on Rivers on April 23 from the daughter of the victim. She reported that her mother had gotten into a vehicle with an unidentified male on April 20 and did not return home. Officials say positive identification through forensic fingerprints confirmed the body to be that of Rivers.
