It happened shortly after 8:15 Saturday night on Hoshall Road near the Southwood intersection. The pickup driven by Seth Hargis, 18, of Lufkin was on the tracks as the train approached. The conductor said he saw the truck on the tracks and sounded the train\u2019s horn. Hargis is said to have jumped from the truck and ran away. Hargis was not injured.
