CANTON \u2013 What started as a theft on progress has resulted in the arrest of four persons on theft charges. It happened on County Road 1308. A witness called authorities to report people on the property who did not belong there. Arriving officers confirmed the thefts and also found two of the suspects in possession of Methamphetamines. <\/p>\n
Charged with theft of property were Joe Benson Rogers, 28, of Grand Saline; Misty Hewitt, 32, of Canton; Thomas Eric Knepp, 34, of Canton; and Michael Lynn McCarty, 32, of Wills Point. Rogers and Hewitt were also charged with possession of a controlled substance. <\/p>\n
