According to the Department of Public Safety, around 1:15 Sunday morning, a dark-colored Ford Heavy Duty truck struck Jacky Wayne Johnson, 65, Tyler, on Highway 64 East just east of Tyler, killing him. According to KETK, the truck then left the scene. Authorities said the truck may be damaged on its front end from hitting the motorcycle.
