NACOGDOCHES (AP) \u2013 An East Texas man who poured boiling water on his 2-year-old son has been sentenced to 35 years in prison. A judge in Nacogdoches on Monday sentenced Anthony Watts. Watts in January pleaded guilty to felony injury to child over the 2010 incident that left ZaTaurean Pleasant critically hurt. Court testimony indicates Watts has a diminished mental capacity. Prosecutors say the man was under the influence of marijuana when the boy was burned over 70 percent of his body.
