TYLER \u2014 Rev. Kyev Tatum of Fort Worth drew on the words of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Saturday night as he keynoted Tyler\u2019s 11th Annual Black History Program. Tatum noted a passage in King\u2019s \u201cI Have a Dream\u201d speech: \u201cOut of a mountain of despair, a stone of hope.\u201d Tatum said he and others at Saturday\u2019s event are \u201cThe Stone of Hope Generation\u201d \u2014 the freedom fighters King knew would come after him. Calling on attendees to be \u201cservant leaders,\u201d Tatum remarked, \u201cGod has called us to look out for the least, the last, the lost, the left out.\u201d He noted that the battle today is not just for civil rights, but also for human rights. Tatum is himself following in King\u2019s footsteps.
