The announcement was made yesterday by the assistant vice president for student affairs and dean of students, Ona Tolliver.<\/p>\n<p>As director, Harvey-Livingston oversees the university\u2019s counseling, testing and disability services offices. She previously served as interim director and has been a counselor at UT Tyler since 1998, working specifically with the wellness and prevention education services and Campus Assault Response Effort program. \u201cKim\u2019s comprehensive experience with the East Texas Mental Health Associates, Andrews Center and the Smith County Sexual Assault Response Team have been and will continue to be a great benefit to our campus community,\u201d Tolliver said.<\/p>\n<p>Before serving UT Tyler, Harvey-Livingston was non-resident services director for the Women\u2019s Center of East Texas in Longview. Harvey-Livingston holds a bachelor of arts in psychology and a master of science in clinical psychology, both from UT Tyler.<\/p>\n<p>She also is a BACCHUS Network Area 6 consultant and serves on the Mothers Against Drunk Driving East Texas Regional Operations Council.
