It happened just before 9:00 Thursday night at the Villages Marina on Big Eddy Road. Noonday Fire officials tell KETK the driver of the truck decided to drive out onto a pier. The pier reportedly gave way and caused the truck to fall into the lake. The driver of the truck was given a sobriety test at the scene and then taken into custody. The driver has been identified as 36-year old Matthew Wayne King.  King is charged with driving while intoxicated.
